About
Academic background
Undergraduate student in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
I am Changqing Luo, an undergraduate student in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at ShanghaiTech University, expected to graduate in July 2028. My academic interests are statistics and applied mathematics.
I am especially interested in questions that require mathematical reasoning, statistical judgment, and careful implementation at the same time. I am preparing through proof-oriented courses, programming, modeling competitions, computational projects, statistics seminars, and guided paper reading.
How I learn
Habits I am trying to build.
Be clear about what I understand, what I am assuming, and what I still need to learn.
Connect mathematical ideas with the data, computation, or decision that motivated them.
Keep code, data steps, and validation choices organized enough to revisit and explain.
Use each course and project to improve one part of my preparation for future research.
